Congratulations!

Congratulations to all our customers who exhibited livestock during the 2008 - 2009 show season.  We understand and appreciate the long hours of hard work that it takes to get to the show ring.  Their outstanding achievements are the best examples of how Whitfield's products perform.

HOT TOPIC

"This year I have a steer named Hot Topic, he is a Club Calf (Maine x Angus x Simmie), out of one of my dads cows. He is probably the best steer we have had in my 5 years of showing. This year on our show circuit, he won Douglas County Steer at the Umpqua Valley Junior Classic in Roseburg, OR on May 9th, where he also helped me win intermediate showmanship. He also placed first in his class and was fourth overall at the Cascade Classic in Madras, OR on May 23rd, we also placed 2nd in Intermediate Showmanship. This has been my best Show Year but I still have Fair to show at." Melissa Arp

ONE HOT ROCKSTAR

"This year I also showed a bred and owned heifer called One Hot Rockstar or Roxy for short. She is a Club Calf (Maine x Angus x Chi) out of HRF Hairy and one of my Maine x Angus cows. She also had a decent show season, 2nd in her class and 5th overall in Douglas County and 3rd in her class in Madras. She was on a small amount of Golden Flo due to being in with the steer, it really gave her a lot of bloom and finish. She is my first bred and owned show heifer, and we did really well." Melissa Arp

"I have used Golden Flo on my steers for 2 years now, with great success. Golden Flo is a great product to use as a top coat or just something to stick the minerals to the feed, I started using it as a replacement for Corn Oil because my last steer didn’t like it, turns out he ate better and was consistently cleaning up his feed. So we decided to use it again this year and it has worked great, my steer licks his pan clean to get all the Golden Flo out of it. Once when I was pouring it from a 5 gallon bucket to a 1gallon jug, my steer came over and tried to drink it right out of the bucket. Thanks to Golden Flo I had and will continue to have a great show season, it really helps put bloom and finish on the calves that are using it."

"Thank you Golden Flo for another great show year!  We now have all of our show calves and performance horses on a daily ration of Golden Flo.  "Under Victorian Sky" from Foster Bros Farms.  "Vicky" was the Reserve Calf Champion Chianina Open Show at 2009 Fort Worth Livestock Show, Grand Champion Chianina heifer at 2009 Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show (March 2009, Mercedes, Texas) and Grand and Supreme Overall Heifer at the 2009 South Texas Ag Roundup (March 2009, Edinburg, Texas).  Our daughter, Tristin Elsworth has shown winning Golden Flo heifers for many years and is proud to submit this testimonial!"

Shown by Evinn Dilly from Deerfield, Mo.

"This lamb has been fed Golden Flo since we bought him in April. I highly recommend feeding Golden Flo.  It helped establish an even finish and our lambs always had appetites, even when the temps reached over 100."

Shown by Kristin Dilly from Deerfield, Mo.

"This steer has been fed Golden Flo since September when he was purchased.  He is a 5 time Grand and a 4 time Reserve Grand Champion.  Golden Flo is the "stuff."  We have been feeding it to our lambs and steers.  They always eat at home and on the road.  They have a good hair coat and it has helped to put on that even finish that we needed.  I would recommend it to anyone showing livestock."
